Forward Cabin Lights

The F25 has little room to spare in the forward cabin and the existing cabin lights protuded too far into the berth area. Having searched for an afforable low profile strip light, we instead used a thin piece of Oak, routed a groove in which to place a strip of LED lights as used in the engine compartment. At the end we added a small slide switch and screwed one each side of the cabin hiding the wires underneath in a shallow grove….simples and cheap.

    • Aye thank you John, I have used the idea in our camper van and under the cupboards in the home kitchen. A strip of 300 led s is about £8 on eBay …for forward cabin 9 LEDs per strip seem about right.
