new stuffing in the box

Now she is out for the winter, i have replaced the rubber hose for the stuffing gland and also the packing. on inspection the rubber hose had delaminated and was in a dangerous state. New hose of the correct type was obtained from Halyard marine and at £4.50 per inch is the most expensive pipe I have ever purchased…but it looks the part.
